LISTEN TO RADICAL INSPIRATION PODCAST  HERE

4 years ago, I started #positivechat on Twitter around conversations to impact our lives to build up our spirits and give us the power to pursue our God given purposes.

After several months, I realized although very engaging, there needed to be more than just a Twitter chat.

The spirit behind it lived in my inspirational morning posts on social media consisting of the following 3 principles:

Good Morning! I LOVE YOU! #agapeeveryday

Expect the very best TODAY! #beinspiredalways

POSITIVE > negative.

Although very powerful, the spirit continues to draw me to build something specifically to impact lives in a more direct, intangible, and action oriented way.

Last summer, I began #MondayMotivationforME to take the inspirational push behind #positivechat to a live call on Monday’s at lunch time.

Hundreds listened in. So much so, the lines got jammed and many would miss the call.

Understanding the impact had to go beyond just a few hundred to at least 10 million people, The Radical Inspiration Podcast was born.

The premise behind The Radical Inspiration Podcast was born out of inspiring not just a smile and feeling good for a few minutes, but of ACTION to accomplish the ultimate best destiny for our lives.

To do what Oprah says, align ourselves with God’s “flow” for our lives.

After living on exavierpope.com solely for 3 months, The Radical Inspiration Podcast attracted the attention of international yoga, travel, adventure, cultural and special interest magazine Wanderlust Media.

The Radical Inspiration Podcast now visits there and is growing on many other platforms who desire to license, house and curate this unique and powerful content.

GQ Style Writer Jake Woolf Interview w/ Exavier Pope on #SuitUP Podcast – 6 Tips to Coordinate a Tie and Pocket Square

GQ style writer Jake Woolf

GQ style writer Jake Woolf

Picking the proper tie and pocket square combo can make it a challenge to “coordinate”

GQ stylist writer Jake Woolf joined the #SuitUP Podcast on the #BestDressedPodcast Network to discuss dos and don’ts:

  1. Do not look so “matchy-matchy” all of the time and wear “box set” tie and pocket square combinations.

  2. Do not wear colors that do not appear in nature. Colors that are “radioactive” or “nuclear” are a no-no.

  3. Play with mixtures of patterns, textures, colors, and scale. A degree in color theory are not necessary.

  4. Use colors that compliment, not are exact.

  5. It’s about feel over time and cool for personal style.

  6. Do not wear shiny, synthetic fabrics.

NFLPA’s George Atallah Interview w/ Exavier Pope on #SuitUP Podcast

NFLPA Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs

NFLPA Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs

The NFLPA has grown mightily since its inception in 1956.

NFLPA Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs joined the #SuitUP Podcast on the #BestDressedPodcast Network to discuss a variety of issues.

  1. On DeflateGate and vindication of union being initially criticized for defending New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady:

“It proved the merits of our case were strong. Most people looked at the case and looked at the high judicial standards of overturning arbitrations opposed to the merits of the Brady case itself.”

  1. NFLPA vs NFL in court battling over the 2011 league’s collective bargaining agreement:

“Alot of things have changed since 2011…collective bargaining is an ongoing process… It’s a mistake to look at the CBA as a set in stone, inflexible document.”

  1. On the NFLPA grievance vs. the NFL on the alleged unilateral change in the personal conduct policy:

“We much rather have a situation where we negotiated with the league on a new personal conduct policy that was tough, transparent, and fair of everyone in the league. We don’t want want to be in a constant grievance and constant court cases…on the basic standards of due process and fairness…the ball is in their court at this point.”

  1. On little known NFLPA, Inc., the for-profit arm of NFLPA:

“There is a dedicated staff of 40-50 to maximize” the ability of NFL players to have a unique way to expand players’ brands.

  1. On a philosophy degree shaping how he deals with NFLPA issues and the impact of social meda:

“It is easy to be dragged into the tweet-by-tweet analysis…it helps to give me a guide to the big picture. You go back to guiding principles instead of episodes.”

  1. On the NFLPA’s evolution in protecting players over the years:

“Starting with the 2011 agreement, we revolutionized the way we deal with former players.”

Marc Edelman Interview w/ Exavier Pope on #SuitUP Podcast – “NFL did not jump the gun” on fantasy sports

Forbes sports business contributor Marc Edelman (Photo: SportsJudge.com)

Forbes sports business contributor Marc Edelman (Photo: SportsJudge.com)

Fantasy sports explosion has gone unchecked until the recent insider trader scandal rocked the industry.

Sports sports business contributor Marc Edelman joined the #SuitUP Podcast to break down the scandal.

Edelman stated it was “well known” in the “fantasy sports community” employees of DraftKings and FanDuel played daily fantasy sports on one another’s sites and found it “astounding” MLB were unaware.

A DraftKings employee won $350,000 on FanDuel’s website.

Edelman explained how Major League Baseball’s infusion of capital impacted DraftKing and the fantasy sports industry after an infusion of private equity.

“DraftKings would have never been able to catapult itself into number 2 without Major League Baseball,” according to Edelman.

Sports leagues and networks have invested in fantasy sports, but the league that would benefit the most did not invest to NFL. “NFL did not jump the gun on this,” Edelman described.

On fantasy sports as gambling, Edelman explained laws are being applied game to game and state to state to eliminate the element of chance to distinguish it from skill based gambling games such as poker.

Lawrence Taylor Interview w/ Exavier Pope on #SuitUP Podcast – “Fun and football can spell disaster if you don’t do it right”

Lawrence Taylor has every reason to believe the modern NFL is different from his day.

The Hall of Fame linebacker was one of the bigger marketing names in his playing day, and even with the forays into commentating, wrestling, exhibition boxing, and other ventures there are for more opportunities.

“Fun and football can spell disaster if you don’t do it right,” LT explained about his penchant for the night life during his playing days and potential impact of social media.

Taylor believes his star in the modern game would lead to a signing bonus being “Giants and Taylor Stadium” due to the large increase in salaries in the NFL.

Lawrence Taylor didn’t believes the NFL was not as strong as it is today. “Gene Upshaw rest his soul, but he didn’t fight as hard for players as the union does today.”
